Topic work – Science

Ahead of the children creating their 3D models of their castles next week, the children have been looking at categorising materials and their qualities, co-operatively in pairs. Using the thinking frame of categorising, the children were able to share their work with their classmates and go on to discuss which materials would be best for their castle.

This term my group have moved onto reading small story books and the writing of these books. The children are excelling at their speed sounds, and this is helping their ‘Fred talk’ when spelling. Keep up the hard work everyone!
