A great day was had by all on World Book Day. The children looked fantastic dressed up in their character costumes. We had football players, a firefighter, animals, princesses, and wizards! The children designed a new front cover for their favourite book. They were so good we will be using them in our reading area to inspire the children to read. Year 1 and 2 were lucky to participate in an online workshop with author and illustrator Raaht Kaduji. She read the story to the children and then she showed them how to draw characters from her storybook. It was great fun and the children really enjoyed.
