We have been focusing on our addition skills this week in Maths. We have been investigating what the addition symbol means and how parts of an addition sentences makes a whole. The children have been making their addition sentences with objects, pictures, Deinnes and numbers. This has been followed up with some of the children using a hundred square. Also, some have been looking at the relationship between addition and subtraction. Using one more or less and 10 more or 10 less. Then have shown excellent number sense, even using numbers up to a thousand or more! Good work everyone!!
