Exploring the Savanna: A week of Wild Adventures

The Savanna

This week, we embarked on an exciting journey to the Savanna, where our little explorers dived into the world of African wildlife, creativity, and learning!

Mapping the Savanna

To kick-start our adventure, the children designed their very own Savanna maps, illustrating the different animals and habitats found in this unique ecosystem. From towering giraffes to powerful lions, their maps brought the landscape to life!

Creating Our Own Lions

Inspired by the king of the Savanna, the children designed their very own lion creations. Using different techniques, they crafted bold and beautiful lions, each with a unique personality.

Simba’s Adventure in the Pride Lands

The magic of storytelling took centre stage as the children wrote their own Simba adventures. Inspired by the well-loved tale, they imagined new journeys, challenges, and friendships for Simba and his pride.

Rebuilding the Animal Sanctuary

Our little conservationists took on the role of wildlife protectors by rebuilding an animal sanctuary. Through hands-on play and problem-solving, they explored the importance of protecting animals and their habitats.

Maths in the Savanna

Maths got a wild twist this week! We practised our doubling skills using animal-themed activities, making learning both fun and engaging.

It’s been an exciting and educational week full of adventure, creativity, and discovery. The Savanna has truly come to life through our learning, and we can't wait for the next adventure! 🦁🌿✨
