This week in Dosbarth Pili-Pala, we’ve been busy getting ready for the holidays. We finished making our Christmas cards, decorated beautiful natural baubles to hang in our homes, and crafted festive Christmas bracelets. We wrote letters to Father Christmas in the writing area and made posters about all the things we are grateful for. 

On Wednesday, the children heard bells jingling in the hall, and moments later, Father Christmas appeared! We had a magical time hearing stories about Rudolph, the elves, and Mrs. Claus. Father Christmas was so impressed with our singing, and we were lucky enough to share our snack time with him.

On Thursday, Reception children joined the rest of the school for a special Christmas dinner in the hall. We sang Christmas songs with Mrs. Heavyside playing the piano and had fun sharing Christmas cracker jokes.
