It has been a jam packed week this week. With our Harvest assembly fast approaching we decided to focus our activities on the traditional tale - The Enormous Turnip. It's an old story that has been around for years and years. Even our grandparents will know it. Around the classroom we have painted a harvest collection, weighed vegetables heavy and light, made shipping containers to carry vegetables across the ocean and made posters for Mrs Stevens' green grocers. For our inquiry, we looked at old items from the past and compared them to what we have today. Do you have any old artefacts to share and talk about at home?
