This week started off with a super surprise. Miss Wilson has come back from her maternity and now teaches Nursery and Reception on a Monday. It is such a treat to have Miss Wilson join the Pili-Pala team especially with her knowledge of Welsh. On Tuesday, Reception visited Steph at Bushcraft Adventures, Tythegston. It gave us an opportunity to practise making waterproof shelters that also provide shade in the sun, fire lighting with flint and steel and toasting marshmallows. It also gave us a chance to work with the year one pupils who will be in our class in September. Nursery have been using their subitising skills to plan and create a story. We have some budding authors with extremely creative stories to tell.
