Last week we noticed lots of sounds in our Cynefin, our local area, Llangan Primary School. Moving forward, we focused on what we could feel. It would have been too easy to touch items around our school with our hands, so we added a bit of fun to the mixture. That’s right, we went for a walk around the school grounds with our bare feet. We had gorgeously rich adjectives such as “squelchy”, “ouchie”, “wobbly” and my favourite to describe the moss “lovely”, hyfryd. In Mathematics, we are ensuring our understanding of zero, tricking the children by asking them to jump like a frog, zero times. Afternoons have led to fantastic collaboration, working together, planning and designing a marble maze. Hopefully, next week we will be able to make the real thing.
