Brrrr it's cold outside, let's embrace the winter season. This week our challenge was to rescue the frozen animals in our water tray, cut snowflakes and trees and to make our own stickmen pictures. In maths, we continued embedding our knowledge of number bonds, looking at compositions 1-5. Nursery had the tricky challenge of throwing the snowflakes (beanbags) in to the pond (hoop) and counting the ones which landed inside and outside the pond. Reception took it a step further making a tower of 5 blocks using only two colours before writing the number sums.
