Outdoor Learning at Llangan Primary – A Day of Creativity and Teamwork! 28.11.24
Today’s Outdoor Learning session was a great success, even though the chilly weather made it a bit of a challenge! Year 1 to 4 spent time in the arboretum, where they dove into a variety of activities. They explored camouflage, built mini dens for woodland creatures, went on a scavenger hunt to collect natural materials, played games, and worked together to dismantle a massive den. It was a day full of teamwork, discovery, and sharp observation skills, with not a single complaint despite the cold! Everyone loved being outside, embracing the fresh air and nature’s wonders.
Meanwhile, Year 5 and 6 were busy crafting. Some students put finishing touches on their wellbeing pebbles, while others created beautiful willow dreamcatchers, wind socks, and fabric wreaths. The creativity on display was absolutely amazing!
A fantastic day of outdoor learning and hands-on fun, demonstrating the resilience and creativity of our pupils. Big thanks to everyone for their enthusiasm, despite the cold! 🌿❄️🎨
