A big thank you to everyone who came along to support our PTA Christmas Movie Night. The evening was full of festive cheer as pupils enjoyed a cosy evening watching films with friends. Thanks to your support, we raised a fantastic £370.60, which will go directly towards enriching the school’s resources and experiences for pupils. -

Our girls’ football team has once again done us proud! They’ve shown incredible teamwork and determination in their recent matches. A special thanks to their coach and everyone who has supported them along the way. Keep up the great work, team! -
Infant Production – A Midlife Crisis:
This year’s Infant production was nothing short of delightful! Performed on Tuesday 10th and Wednesday 11th December, the children’s adorable and humorous portrayal of A Midlife Crisis had the audience in fits of laughter and filled with festive joy. Thank you to the staff who worked tirelessly to prepare the pupils, and to families who helped with costumes and props. -
Whole School Trip to the Pantomime:
Thursday saw the entire school, from Reception to Year 6, travel to Cardiff’s New Theatre to see the Christmas pantomime. The trip was filled with laughter and excitement as the children joined in with all the classic panto fun – boos, cheers, and, of course, “He’s behind you!” A big thank you to the staff and parent helpers who made the day so smooth and enjoyable.
PTA Update
We are so lucky to have an incredible PTA that works tirelessly to support our school. Their efforts are crucial in funding items and projects that benefit all pupils. Recently, the PTA’s fundraising allowed us to purchase a brand-new stage. Our previous stage was no longer safe, and this upgrade means that we can continue to hold productions, concerts, and assemblies that showcase the talents of our pupils.
Thank you to everyone who supports PTA events – you truly make a difference!
Staffing Update
We have some significant staffing changes to share as we approach the new year.

Farewell to Mrs. Finucane:
Mrs. Tracy Finucane, our early years teacher, will be leaving us at the end of the term as he decided to pursue a different career. Her dedication to her role over 14 years in Llanga has left a lasting impact on the pupils and staff, and we wish her the very best in her next chapter. MRs Bethan Hughes will be replacing her in January. -
Mrs. Jarman-Davies’ Secondment:
Our ALNCo, Mrs. Jarman-Davies, has been seconded to the Local Authority, where she will be taking on a new challenge supporting schools across the Vale of Glamorgan. While we will greatly miss her expertise and warmth, we are incredibly proud of this achievement and know she will make a huge impact in her new role which is for two terms until Septmeber 2025. -
Welcome to Mr. Elliss:
We are delighted to announce that Mr. Ellis will be joining Team Llangan in January. Mr. Ellis is an experienced teacher with a passion for creative and engaging learning. He will be teaching Years 1 and 2 and has already expressed his excitement about becoming part of our school community. We’re sure he’ll be a fantastic addition to the team!
