🌟 Llangan Senedd: Pupil Voice in Action! 🌟

At Llangan, we believe in empowering our pupils to be active citizens who make a difference in school, the community, and beyond. Our Senedd gives them a voice in shaping the way our school runs, and today, they tackled an important issue—how to improve lunchtimes and playtimes!

💬 Debate Highlights:
🔹 How can we make playtimes safer, fairer, and more enjoyable?
🔹 How should equipment be used respectfully?
🔹 How can we ensure all year groups get a positive playtime experience?

✅ Agreed Actions:
🎤 A whole-school assembly to share clear playground expectations.
🏀 An equipment rota to ensure fair access.
🎨 A creative zone to offer different play opportunities.
📅 A structured timetable to help different year groups integrate smoothly.
📏 Clear, simple rules for safe play.

Through our Senedd Committees, every pupil in Years 2 to 6 has a chance to contribute to real change, developing confidence, leadership, and teamwork. This is pupil voice in action—shaping our school for the better!

📜 Article 3 – Adults should always consider what’s best for children.
📜 Article 4 – Governments must ensure children’s rights are upheld.
📜 Article 15 – Children have the right to join groups and have a voice.
