On Friday 17th November Y4 visited BBC Wales in Cardiff, as it was Children in Need week, our visit to the BBC was even more special. We were interviewed by Ian H Watkins (formerly of STEPS) for Wynne Evans' radio show on Radio Wales, where we shared with the nation how Llangan was raising money for and celebrating this important cause. The children were shown the News Studio, met news presenter Clare Summers, and even witnessed a live broadcast of Radio Wales. One of our pupils, Mollie, was interviewed live on air by Wynne Evans himself, proudly sharing how our school community was supporting Children in Need. The children also had the opportunity to try their hand at broadcasting, reading the news, weather, and commentating on sports live on camera. They also visited the BBC Wales Sports Studio and a radio recording studio, furthering their understanding of the broadcasting industry.
