A Week of Music, Mud, and Mindfulness! 🎢🌿🧠

It’s been a busy and exciting week for Year 5 and 6 at Llangan! From rehearsing for the Young Voices concert to embracing the great outdoors and learning important life lessons with BulliesOut, our pupils have been engaged, inspired, and ready for new challenges.

Young Voices: Finding Our Rhythm 🎀

Our Year 5 and 6 pupils have been in full voice this week, getting stuck into rehearsals for the upcoming Young Voices concert in London! The energy in the room has been electric as pupils have been learning the lyrics, harmonies, and even some choreography. With each rehearsal, their confidence is growing, and we can already tell it’s going to be an unforgettable experience. Keep practising at home, everyone—we can’t wait to see you shine on stage!

Outdoor Learning: Muddy Hands, Happy Minds! πŸƒ

Despite the January chill, our pupils have been making the most of our Outdoor Learning sessions. From exploring habitats and building shelters to teamwork challenges, the children have embraced the fresh air and hands-on learning. Outdoor Learning not only connects us with nature but also builds resilience, problem-solving skills, and teamwork. A big diolch to everyone for coming dressed for the weather—it makes all the difference!

BulliesOut Workshop: Kindness & Respect πŸ’™

This week, we also welcomed BulliesOut, a charity that works with young people to promote kindness, respect, and emotional well-being. Through interactive sessions, our pupils explored the impact of words and actions, the importance of standing up for others, and strategies for handling difficult situations. It was a powerful and thought-provoking session that reinforced the values we uphold at Llangan—kindness, empathy, and respect for all.

A fantastic week of learning, growth, and excitement! We’re looking forward to another busy and inspiring week ahead. Keep climbing high, Llangan! πŸš€
