Forest School Fun

Dosbarth Mochyn Ddaer - 4.10.24

As we settle into our day routines, the pupils have been working extremely hard. In Literacy, pupils are working towards developing their understanding of non-chronological reports, before eventually writing their own under the topic 'Children in the mines'. In our Inquiry lessons, the pupils have been building their knowledge of the Industrial Revolution (see if they can give you any facts).

An addition to our day plan this year has been our Forest School sessions on a Thursday. Within these sessions, I prioritise the pupils wellbeing. They have made their own space and showcase an awareness of their own mental health, before and after the session has commenced. It has been a truly inspiring couple of sessions and I look forward to the extra sessions we have planned for the rest of the term.
