This week in Year One and Two, we have been focusing on our geography fieldwork skills in preparation for our class trip next week. This week we spent time discussing the features of a map and this led us to finding out about compasses. We have found the name of the different compass points, how to read a compass and using a compass to give directions to a location. It was great - everyone really enjoyed it!
