In our last week of our topic, we were extremely fortunate to have a local resident visit our classroom and explain to us about her experiences in the war. It was a fascinating hour, with the pupils able to examine items from her school days, as well as ration books and even a toy from her childhood.

It has been a delight to teach our children about WW2. I look forward to seeing you all on our Jump Out Day and showcasing the pupils work.
