The week of Jump Out Day!

Our week started with preparations for our Jump Out Day. We made a book showcasing our learning, which we discussed with our families on Jump Out Day. We created a now and then chart showing how we have changed since being a baby. We have been looking at teddy bears and labelled the features of old and new bears, whilst talking about why teddies have changed over time.

In Maths, we have been looking at 1 more and 1 less and some of us have been going further with our challenges by adding 2 more or 2 less to numbers up to 20. We have been doing a great job, although some of us need to practice our number formation a little bit to excel even more.

In RWInc we have been learning the sounds c, k, u and b. We have been learning to recognise, sound out and write these sounds, as well as write CVC words using sounds we have previously learnt.

We have been starting to practice for our Christmas concert. We can't wait to teach you the songs at home!

Also this week, Miss Llewellyn had a chat with us about our handwriting and presentation challenge, where we have been earning house points for our work.

We have had so much fun in our learning this week!
